Taken the night after a heavy rain, the French Broad River was almost overflowing its banks. Even on a cloudy dismal day, the reflections on the water are amazing.
Paint Creek is located near the North Carolina / Tennessee state line in Madison County, NC at the Paint Rock site. This was taken the night after a heavy rain, and even though it’s just a “creek” it looks like white water rapids!
I like how you can see trickles of water running down the rocks into the gushing river banks.
